The 6mm beechwood shells are are inspired by the SONOR teardrop shells from the 60s, while the 9mm and 12mm versions focus on their Phonic and Signature 70s and 80s series.

Compared to other shells, beechwood shells have flat vintage sound. Vintage sound like SONOR at its finest. Another nice option are marching drums and snares made of beech.

Good to know: The thinner the shell, the more he moves / shakes, so it will have more low pitch (deep sound). The thicker the shell, the higher its sound.
